Protect Yourself from Fraud

Fraudsters are constantly developing new methods to target bank customers and gain unauthorized access to personal and financial information.They frequently use phishing scams, including fake Emails, SMS messages, and Social Media communications that appear to originate from legitimate and trusted institutions.
These fraudulent messages are intended to trick customers into revealing sensitive information such as passwords, PINs, verification codes, and account details.
To safeguard yourself against fraud, scams, and other cyber-related threats, we encourage all customers to remain vigilant and follow the important security measures outlined below.
- Verify Before Sending Money
Do not send money based solely on requests received through social media or messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Email, SMS, or unsolicited phone calls. Always verify financial requests through direct voice communication or official contact channels before making any transaction. - Keep Your Security Credentials Private
Never share your PIN, password, OTP (One-Time Password), verification codes, or any other security credentials with anyone under any circumstances. - Avoid Suspicious Links and Applications
Do not open suspicious links received through SMS, Email, or Social Media. Always download mobile banking and mobile money applications only from trusted and official sources. - Monitor Your Accounts Regularly
Regularly check your account or wallet balances and transaction history to quickly identify any unauthorized activity. - Do Not Accept Assistance from Strangers
Do not allow unauthorized individuals to assist you while using ATMs, mobile banking, or other digital financial services. - Report Lost or Compromised Devices Immediately
Immediately notify the Bank if your phone, ATM card, or any device connected to your financial services is lost, stolen, or compromised. - Download Applications Only from Trusted and Official Sources
The Bank will never ask customers to download any application other than its official mobile banking application, nor will it request fund transfers through links shared via phone calls, text messages, emails, or social media platforms. Please remain vigilant against fraudsters who may impersonate the Bank and attempt to persuade you to download unauthorized applications, click suspicious links, disclose sensitive information, or transfer funds.. - Report Fraud Without Delay
Customers are advised to immediately report any fraud incidents or suspicious activities related to their accounts by calling 995 or visiting the nearest branch.
