Hibret Bank Achieved ISO 27001: 2013

Hibret Bank has granted ISO 27001:2013 certification relating to its Information Security Management System (ISMS) of the online banking Services, Data Centre and the Disaster Recovery facility. This certification will make Hibret Bank the first bank in Ethiopia certified with ISO 27001:2013 for its online banking system and its entire back end infrastructure.

The certification shows Hibret Banks Commitment to provide safe and secure service to its customers and the entire financial and banking ecosystem in the country. The certification also provides Hibret Banks Online Banking System to be more secure and reliable.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international standard that requires the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an information management system within the context of the organization.

PECB MS an international standard organization accessed and certified Hibret bank for its Information Security Management System.
